William Hill Sportsbook Promo CodeWe are just over a month away from the start of the 2019 College Football season. With that, NJ online sportsbooks are doing their best to release week 1 point spreads ASAP to increase the excitement for NJ sports betting.

This is something we as bettors are still getting comfortable with. Before PASPA being struck down, we had our standard wait periods for week 1 odds coming out of Las Vegas sportsbooks.

In this case, William Hill NJ has released odds for dozens of Week 1 college football games. PA Sportsbooks have done the same as FanDuel Sportsbook PA has full week 1 college football menu. This follows William Hill NFL over-under wins which were released on June.

Week 1 of the college football season will give us our first glimpse into some incoming NFL prospects such as quarterbacks Tua Tagovailoa, Jake Fromm and Justin Herbert.

Here is a list of all of the games William Hill Sportsbook has posted about below, with their odds.

Week 1 College Football Picks 2019

Auburn vs. Oregon

As mentioned, we are looking forward to what Herbert can do. He had an up and down year a season ago and a strong showing against an SEC opponent in Auburn would be huge for not only his draft stock, but Oregon’s chances at getting into the tournament as a Pac-12 team.

At home, Auburn is a 2.5-point favorite. This game does rely heavily on Herbert carrying the offense, though they are equipped with arguably the best offensive line in the country.

With that said, they will go up against Auburn’s defensive line, which is arguably the best in the country, too.

This should end up being a relatively high scoring game, but Oregon will narrowly escape.

Prediction: Oregon 33, Auburn 28

Alabama vs. Duke

With Daniel Jones heading to the NFL, Duke is without their longtime, seasoned quarterback. Unfortunately for Duke, they have a group of inexperienced receive outside of their running back Deon Jackson.

With those inexperienced receivers, they’ll go up against an Alabama secondary that should be able to lock them down, hence the 32-point spread.

Bama wins this one big, with a huge effort from potential No. 1 overall pick Tagovailoa.

Prediction: Alabama 56, Duke 10

Clemson vs. Georgia Tech

Headed by Trevor Lawrence, the Clemson Tigers will into the season looking to win back to back National Championships. Opening the season at home against Georgia Tech, the Tigers are 34-point favorites. It would be an absolute shock if Tech was able to take down the Tigers at home.

Lawrence is going to rip Tech apart.

Prediction: Clemson 64, Georgia Tech 14

Miami at Florida

Kicking off the college football season is two Floridian teams doing battle, with the Gators have a 7.5-point edge.  Florida’s head coach Dan Mullen came into the program last year after previous stints of working with Urban Meyer and being part of the development of Washington Redskins quarterback Alex Smith during his days at Utah.

In “Week 0”, Florida will roll with Feleipe Franks under center, and in one year with Mullen, he made great strides at the position.

This game should be feisty throughout. Miami has a bunch of new players and a new coaching staff. This game could be the start of a big season for Florida or the start of Miami trying to return to their dominant form of old.

Florida has more consistent pieces in place and Miami has way too many variables that may not get all in line in the first week.

To kick off the season, the Gators will be victorious.

Prediction: Florida 27, Miami 20
